Awanui Labs has been issued with strike notices by APEX union for Friday 17 November 2023. Locally our laboratory, courier, and home visit services are unaffected and will operate as normal.

Unfortunately we do have to close some of our collection rooms:

• Hastings Health Centre Collection rooms – closed Friday 17 November
• Havelock North Collection rooms – Closed Friday 17 November
• All other collection rooms are open as normal. Please refer your Hastings patients to our 114 Maraekakaho Rd rooms during the closure
• For tests referred to other labs in our network there may some delays reporting results.
