Results sent by email are password protected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will receive your emailed results 3 working days after the completion of all testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We can mail your results to your nominated address if no email address is provided (allow 7 working days after the completion of testing).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-atomic-blocks-ab-accordion ab-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"ab-accordion-title\">Will my healthcare provider receive a copy of the results?<\/summary><div class=\"ab-accordion-text\">\n<p>No, but we may seek your authorisation to do so if your results are abnormal.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-atomic-blocks-ab-accordion ab-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"ab-accordion-title\">How do I pay?<\/summary><div class=\"ab-accordion-text\">\n<p>Payment can be made online, or in person at the time of collection by either  EFTPOS or credit card (Visa and Mastercard).  <strong>Please note, cash payments will not be accepted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-atomic-blocks-ab-accordion ab-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"ab-accordion-title\">How do I make a request?<\/summary><div class=\"ab-accordion-text\">\n<p>You can self request tests<a href=\"https:\/\/mytests.sclabs.co.nz\/\">\u00a0<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/bodyiq.co.nz\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">electronically<\/a>\u00a0or via request\u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.awanuilabs.co.nz\/central\/wellington\/collection-centres\/\">Awanui Labs\u00a0collection centres with\u00a0payment facilities<\/a>. You need to complete your details on the form, sign and date the declaration.\u00a0Payment must be made and then the specimens are collected and sent to the laboratory for testing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-atomic-blocks-ab-accordion ab-block-accordion\"><details><summary class=\"ab-accordion-title\">How will I know what the results mean?<\/summary><div class=\"ab-accordion-text\">\n<p>You will need to consult with your healthcare provider if you require interpretive advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important<\/strong>: Medical test results should not be interpreted&nbsp;in isolation but in conjunction with any clinical signs and symptoms a person may also have &#8211; your registered healthcare provider has specific training and experience in this. &nbsp;Awanui Labs&nbsp;does not provide any interpretation services for results on self requested tests.&nbsp; We strongly advise you to consult your healthcare provider about interpretation of the results.
