{"id":743,"date":"2019-01-16T04:27:05","date_gmt":"2019-01-16T04:27:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.awanuilabs.co.nz\/central\/wellington\/for-patients\/faeces-copy\/"},"modified":"2024-01-24T16:30:01","modified_gmt":"2024-01-24T03:30:01","slug":"glucose-challenge","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.awanuilabs.co.nz\/central\/wellington\/for-patients\/preparing-for-your-test\/glucose-challenge\/","title":{"rendered":"Glucose Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Challenge Screen for Diabetes in Pregnancy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">(1 hour Screen Test &#8211; following 50g glucose load)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About your Test<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your health professional has requested this test as a routine screen for diabetes in pregnancy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You do not need to make an appointment for this test.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are not required to fast before your test.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For the test it is preferable for you to remain at the Awanui Labs collection centre for just over 1 hour. \u00a0During this time you will be required to rest. You may like to bring a book to read.
