At the successful set up of the cytology department he moved into the role of Quality Coordinator, transitioning to Quality Assurance Manager early in 2014 and absorbing the added responsibility of managing the quality systems of Northland Pathology in mid 2015; and facility management in mid 2016. In 2021 Saad was appointed as the National Quality and Safety Manager for Awanui group along side the role of Chief Privacy Officer, In that role Saad focus was on standardising quality processes and systems for Awanui. After qualifying as a Medical Laboratory Pre-Analytical Technician (MLPAT), she moved into operational management and is now the Patient Services Manager for Auckland. During his training he also completed a PhD degree at the University of Utah in Physiology (with emphasis in Endocrinology and Genetics).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">Dr Kyle&nbsp;has been involved in the provision of community pathology services in Auckland since 1993, first as Director of Biochemistry at Medlab (1993-1999), then as Co-Director and later Director of Biochemistry\/Immunology at Diagnostic Medlab from 1999 to 2013. He has also been employed as a part time Chemical Pathologist at LabPlus since 2010. She completed training and fellowships in clinical and laboratory Haematology in Christchurch Hospital\/Canterbury Health Laboratories and Middlemore hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size\">In addition to her role as Medical Director, Dr Overend has been a Haematologist at Awanui Labs since 2015.
