For a defined range of tests, you can self-request if you are aged 16 years or over. This service is designed to give you more control over your health by providing access to clinically validated testing without a referral. For any medical advice about your results, please consult your healthcare provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do I make a request?<\/summary>

You can choose and purchase tests securely online through BODYiQ<\/a>, which is our recommended process for a more seamless experience. Alternately you can request a form at an Awanui Labs collection centre. Once payment is made, your samples can be collected at one of our 150+ centres nationwide and processed in our IANZ-accredited laboratories.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How will I get my results?<\/summary>

For orders processed through BODYiQ <\/a>you will be notified by email when your results are available to view in the secure online portal of your BODYiQ account. Most results are available within a few working days.\u00a0

For collection centre orders we will email your results to you if an email address is provided on the Self-Request Test request form. Results sent by email are password protected. You will receive your emailed results 3 working days after the completion of all testing.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can mail your results to your nominated address if no email address is provided (allow 7 working days after the completion of testing). <\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Will my Healthcare Provider receive a copy of the results?\u00a0<\/summary>

No, your results are private and will only be shared with you. Your results are not linked to your National Health Identifier (NHI) number. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, if you need support in understanding your results, you can consult a registered GP through our recommended partner, The Doctors Online or choose to download and share your results with your GP. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How do I pay?<\/summary>

Payment is required at the time of request. Online BODYiQ<\/a> purchases can be made securely by credit or debit card. At collection centres, EFTPOS and credit card (Visa or Mastercard) are accepted. Please note: cash is not accepted.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/details><\/div>\n\n\n\n
