Queen Elizabeth memorial day

Our collection centres will be closed on Monday 26 September in honour of Queen Elizabeth II. Please remember to wear a mask in all of our collection rooms as we are a healthcare facility.

Matariki weekend

Our collection centres will all be closed on Friday 24 June for the Matariki public holiday.

Queen’s birthday

Our collection centres will be closed on Monday June 6 for the Queen’s birthday public holiday. We will reopen again on Tuesday June 7.

Easter & ANZAC weekends

> Our collection centres will be closed on the Easter and ANZAC day public holidays.

Otago anniversary day

All SCL collection centres in the Otago region will be closed on Monday 21 March for the Otago anniversary day.

LDL calculation change SDHB

From October 11, 2021 the biochemistry laboratory is changing the way that LDL cholesterol (LDLC) is calculated on the lipid profile.
