Setting up a new clinician or adding them for eOrder access
If you are a clinician who is new to requesting laboratory tests with Awanui, or are working at a new facility, or you are setting up a new clinician at your practice, please complete the New Requestor form.
Note:
- Clinicians need a separate set up for each location they work from. Whether this is a full set up with lab code and eOrder access or just access to eOrders from that facility, a new requestor form must be submitted for each workplace. This ensures laboratory results are sent to the correct facility.
- A lab code is required if the clinician will be the responsible clinician requesting and receiving the test result. Please select the New Requestor Code tick box below. eOrder access will also be added to the code if the facility uses eOrders.
- If the person requesting tests is doing so on behalf of another clinician and will not receive the results themselves, they only need access to eOrders and do not require their own lab code. Please select the Access to eOrders only tick box below.
- Once the form has been submitted, a member of our team will confirm when the setup is complete.
